On Wednesday, July 26, soybean futures declined, with July contracts closing at $11.08 3/4, down 8 1/4 cents. The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price also fell to $10.58 1/4, a decrease of 7 3/4 cents. Soymeal futures saw mixed results, with changes ranging from an increase of 70 cents to a decrease of $2.30, while Soy Oil futures were down between 82 to 113 points.
Forecasts from the NOAA estimated a 7-day QPF indicating rainfall of 1 to 3 inches across Kansas to the southern parts of the Eastern Corn Belt, while northern Illinois, much of Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota are expected to see less than half an inch of precipitation.
Looking ahead, Thursday’s Export Sales data is anticipated, with projections for 2025/26 soybean sales estimated between 100,000 to 500,000 MT. For the current marketing year, sales for the week ending June 18 are thought to range from 450,000 to 1,000,000 MT, with soybean meal sales estimated at 200,000 to 500,000 MT.
