Reddit and Meta Platforms Growth Insights

Reddit has shown significant growth, boasting a compound annual revenue growth rate of 48.9% over the past three years, compared to Meta Platforms’ 19.9%. As of now, Reddit has 126.8 million daily active users (DAUs) growing at 17% year-over-year, highlighting its potential for market share expansion, while Meta’s user base increased by only 4%.

Despite Reddit’s more rapid growth, Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) maintains a more attractive valuation, with a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 23.5 versus Reddit’s 51.8. Additionally, Meta is exploring multiple revenue channels, including AI technologies and cloud infrastructure, to reduce reliance on advertising revenue. Reddit anticipates $720 million in second-quarter revenue, a 44% year-over-year growth that, while substantial, marks a slowdown from previous rates.
