Tesla sold 61,484 vehicles in China in June 2025, marking a 59.3% increase from 38,588 units in May 2025 and a 3.75% rise from 59,261 units in June 2024, according to CNEV Post. This total is Tesla’s second-highest monthly count in 2025, following 74,127 units in March. Combined domestic and export sales for June reached 71,599 units, up 16.1% month-over-month and 0.8% year-over-year.
In the second quarter of 2025, Tesla’s sales in China totaled 128,803 EVs, a decline of 4.3% from the first quarter and 11.7% from the same quarter in 2024, with domestic sales comprising 67.2% of total sales. Meanwhile, BYD sold 377,628 passenger vehicles globally in June, reflecting an 11% year-over-year increase but showing declining sales in China for the last three months. Li Auto delivered 36,279 vehicles in June 2025, down 24.06% year-over-year and 11.2% from May.
