Sandisk Corporation (SNDK) has launched its high-performance network-attached storage (NAS) products, including the SANDISK NAS 600 SATA SSD and SANDISK NAS 800 NVMe SSD, aimed at prosumers and small businesses. This expansion strengthens Sandisk’s position in private-cloud and local-storage markets, enhancing competition against Micron Technology (MU) and Seagate Technology (STX).
The NAS 600 features sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s and endurance of 2,500 TBW on the 4TB model, while the NAS 800 offers speeds up to 14,900/13,200 MB/s with 14 PBW endurance. This product line is positioned to meet the growing demand for large and fast storage solutions driven by factors such as AI adoption and increasing digital content.
In fiscal 2026, Sandisk reported a 195% surge in Edge revenues to $12.16 billion and a 29% increase in Consumer revenues to $2.94 billion. Sandisk shares have appreciated 575.7% year-to-date, significantly outperforming the broader technology sector.
