Bill Ackman’s New Fund Investments

Bill Ackman has quickly deployed nearly all the capital raised from the IPO of his new closed-end fund, Pershing Square USA (NYSE: PSUS), launched earlier this year. Three key holdings now account for approximately 45% of the fund’s portfolio as of last month.

Ackman has emphasized his optimistic view on certain stocks, especially in the tech sector. Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), which comprises 17.9% of the portfolio, is expected to grow earnings per share at a compound rate of about 19% over the next three to five years. Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) is another focus, representing 14.7% of the fund, with anticipated earnings growth of around 22%. Lastly, Uber (NYSE: UBER), making up 12.8% of the portfolio, has shown promising user growth, with expectations for 25% earnings growth in the coming years.
