**Stanley Druckenmiller Takes Position in Tesla Amid Challenges**
Stanley Druckenmiller, a prominent macro trader and former portfolio manager of George Soros’s Quantum Fund, has recently purchased call options for Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA). Despite Tesla stock plummeting over 20% this year, Druckenmiller’s buy suggests he sees potential in the company’s future, particularly emphasizing its artificial intelligence endeavors, such as the Optimus humanoid robot and the Robotaxi network.
As of now, Tesla’s market capitalization stands at approximately $1.4 trillion, presenting a trailing price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio exceeding 300. In the second quarter, cumulative paid miles for Robotaxi surpassed 2.4 million; however, growth has stagnated, adding less than 900,000 miles in recent months. Meanwhile, Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) users reached 1.48 million, exhibiting a 56% year-on-year increase, indicating a shift towards software and recurring revenue that could enhance its valuation over time.
