Lamar Advertising Company (LAMR) has reported a promising outlook for 2026, raising its adjusted funds from operations (AFFO) per share guidance to between $8.75 and $8.90. This revision comes as the company has seen an 8% stock increase over the past six months, significantly outperforming the industry growth of 2.1%. As of the end of Q2 2026, Lamar operates 5,730 digital billboard units, with digital revenues accounting for about one-third of total billboard revenues.

In addition to its strong performance, Lamar generated 77% of its billboard revenues from local and regional sales, which have seen consecutive growth for 21 quarters. The company has also announced a plan to increase its third-quarter dividend to $1.65 per share, subject to board approval. Capital expenditure for 2026 is projected to be around $186 million, with management highlighting an ongoing commitment to acquisitions and digital expansion.
