Dana Stock Sees 10% Surge Following Disappointing Q2 Earnings Report

Dana Incorporated (DAN) reported second-quarter 2026 earnings, showing a 280% increase in adjusted earnings per share to 19 cents, but missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 64 cents by 70.3%. Revenues reached $2.01 billion, a 3.9% year-over-year increase, surpassing the consensus estimate of $1.89 billion by 6.2%. The adjusted EBITDA margin improved by 270 basis points to 10.3%, with adjusted EBITDA rising to $207 million from $147 million a year prior.

Operating cash flow improved significantly to $109 million from $32 million, while adjusted free cash flow reached $68 million, up from negative $7 million. Dana has raised its 2026 sales outlook to between $7.65 billion and $7.85 billion, an increase from a previous estimate of $7.3 billion to $7.7 billion. Adjusted free cash flow is now projected at $275 million to $375 million, up from $250 million to $350 million.

Dana’s Light Vehicle sales increased by 3.3% to $1.38 billion, with adjusted EBITDA rising 27.7% to $143 million. The Commercial Vehicle segment also performed well, posting sales of $631 million, a 5.2% rise from the previous year, and an adjusted EBITDA increase of 44.7% to $68 million. The company is anticipating approximately 275,000 units for the North American Class 8 industry volume in 2026.
