As the opening bell chimed on Friday, Amgen took a stellar stride, becoming the standout performer among the Dow Jones Industrial Average constituents, with shares climbing a solid 1.0%. However, when viewing Amgen’s year-to-date trajectory, a less optimistic narrative unfolds, with a decrease in value by approximately 4.8%.
Salesforce, on the other hand, emerged as the bearer of bad news, the worst performer in the Dow component, sporting a 1.9% decrease in trading. Despite this daily downtrend, Salesforce displays a marked 13.0% uptick in its year-to-date performance.
