InterDigital, Inc. (IDCC) reported second-quarter 2026 revenues of $260.2 million, a 13% year-over-year decline but above expectations, with non-GAAP earnings of $4.62 per share exceeding forecasts. Annualized recurring revenue reached a record $625.7 million, a 13% year-over-year increase, bolstered by a significant new licensing agreement with Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN), which contributed $110 million to revenues for this quarter.

Following these robust results, InterDigital raised its 2026 revenue outlook to between $775-$845 million and adjusted EBITDA expectations to $469-$529 million. The company also increased its non-GAAP earnings guidance to $10.85-$12.81 per share. As of June, InterDigital had approximately $1.11 billion in cash and equivalents, providing strong liquidity for ongoing research and development.

In addition, InterDigital is actively pursuing next-generation wireless research, including 6G technologies, collaborating with major academic institutions to enhance its portfolio of standard-essential patents for future licensing opportunities.
