Nvidia’s Revenue Growth and Future Projections
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang announced at the GTC conference in March that the company anticipates at least $1 trillion in cumulative sales from its Blackwell and Rubin chip products between 2025 and 2027. This comes amidst high demand for AI chip technology, with Huang citing $500 billion in confirmed purchase orders through 2026.
Currently, Nvidia’s data center revenue comprises about 90% of its total revenue, which generated $216 billion in fiscal 2026, mainly from data centers, with projections estimating total revenue of $394 billion for this year and $561 billion next year. If these trends continue, Nvidia could surpass $1 trillion in data center sales by the end of next year.
However, risks remain, including supply chain constraints and heightened competition from major clients like Amazon and Google, who are developing their own AI chips. These dynamics could potentially impact Nvidia’s ability to meet its ambitious sales targets if not managed effectively.
