Reddit Inc. (RDDT) reported significant revenue growth in Q2 2026, with total revenues increasing 61% year-over-year to $805 million. Advertising revenues rose 64% to $762 million, driven by a more than 70% increase in active advertisers seeking engagement with Reddit’s high-intent audience. The launch of Reddit Max, an AI-driven ad automation and optimization suite, contributed to a 150% revenue increase from Max campaigns, with adoption rising over 60% sequentially in the same quarter.

Looking ahead, Reddit anticipates third-quarter 2026 revenues between $860 million and $870 million. The company’s expanding AI capabilities are expected to further enhance advertising efficiency, as evidenced by lower acquisition costs and higher conversion rates from early tests of Max campaigns. Despite these advancements, RDDT shares have dropped 35% year-to-date, lagging behind the broader technology sector, which has seen an 18.2% increase.

As Reddit continues to innovate with AI, competition from Meta Platforms and Snap persists, both of which are also expanding their digital advertising capabilities. Snap reported 971 million monthly active users and 493 million daily users in Q2 2026, driven partly by AI-enhanced features.
