Ford Motor Company and Stellantis N.V. have recently announced significant partnerships aimed at advancing their long-term growth strategies. On May 18, 2026, Ford Energy entered into a five-year agreement with EDF Group to supply up to 20 GWh of battery energy storage systems for U.S. grid-scale projects starting in 2028. Meanwhile, Stellantis announced on June 17, 2026, a partnership with Wayve and Uber Technologies to expedite the deployment of Level 4 autonomous robotaxis.

In financial forecasts, Ford expects a 2026 EBIT of $8.5-$10.5 billion, reflecting strong demand for high-margin vehicles. Stellantis, on the other hand, aims for mid-single-digit revenue growth with a €60 billion five-year plan initiated on May 21, 2026, intending to grow revenues from €154 billion in 2025 to €190 billion by 2030. The projected EPS growth for Ford is 50.5% for 2026, while Stellantis expects a staggering 214.6% increase.

Despite these ambitious targets, Stellantis has faced stock declines of 42.5% over the last six months, contrasting with a 5.8% rise in Ford’s shares, indicating Ford’s stronger market performance amid ongoing industry changes.
