SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF Leads on Strong Friday Trading
Intel and Penguin Solutions Drive High Performance
On Friday, the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF showed impressive performance, rising about 2.6% during the trading session. Notable contributors to this gain included shares of Intel, which climbed approximately 9%, and shares of Penguin Solutions, increasing about 6.6%.
In contrast, the iShares Climate Conscious & Transition MSCI USA ETF declined by about 1.7% in the afternoon. Among its weaker performers were shares of Southern, falling by about 2.2%, and shares of Paypal Holdings, also down approximately 2.2% for the day.
