Notable Trading Volume Highlights Key Companies
The iShares Global Consumer Staples ETF recorded an impressive trading volume on Friday afternoon, with over 307,000 shares exchanged compared to the average of approximately 35,000 shares over the past three months. KXI’s share price rose by about 0.8% during this period.
Among the ETF’s components, Walmart saw the highest activity, rising approximately 2.5% with over 8.3 million shares traded. Coca-Cola followed closely, experiencing a slight dip of about 0.1% on a volume exceeding 7.6 million shares. Walgreens Boots Alliance stood out as the best performer of the day, gaining nearly 4%, while Constellation Brands lagged, decreasing by around 0.9%.
