Robinhood Markets, Inc. (HOOD) reported second-quarter 2026 earnings of 62 cents per share, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 44 cents by 40.9%, and showing a 48% year-over-year increase. Total net revenues rose 32% compared to the previous year, reaching $1.31 billion, surpassing the consensus of $1.26 billion. Net income also climbed 48% to $573 million.
Transaction-based revenues increased 44% year over year to $776 million, with notable performance in options and equities trading. However, cryptocurrency revenues declined by 38% to $100 million. Funded customers rose by 7% to 28.4 million, while total platform assets grew 32% to $369 billion. Operating expenses climbed 33% to $734 million due to investments in growth and restructuring.
In shareholder returns, Robinhood repurchased $414 million in stock during the quarter, totaling $1.3 billion since initiating buybacks in Q3 2024. The company adjusted its 2026 operating expense outlook to between $2.675 billion and $2.775 billion, reflecting efficiency gains.
