Lumentum Holdings Inc. (LITE) reported a significant increase in fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 results with non-GAAP earnings of $3.23 per share, marking a 267% year-over-year rise. Revenues reached $1.01 billion, up 109.3% compared to the previous year, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 1.79%. The growth was attributed to strong demand in cloud and artificial intelligence sectors, alongside record shipments of 1.6T transceivers.
Component revenues reached $649.4 million, a 21.8% sequential increase and 102.7% year-over-year, with the 200G Electro-Absorption Modulated Laser (EML) portfolio contributing over 25% of total revenues. System revenues also rose to $356.9 million, up 29.7% sequentially and 122.6% from the previous year. For fiscal Q1 2027, Lumentum forecasts revenues between $1.225 billion and $1.275 billion, indicating over 130% year-over-year growth.
Strong operating leverage was evident with a non-GAAP gross margin of 50.4%, up 250 basis points sequentially. The firm expects demand for EML and Continuous-Wave (CW) lasers to rise significantly through 2027, while planning a fourfold increase in pump laser shipments over the coming quarters.
