On Wednesday, trading revealed significant declines in precious metals and biotechnology sectors. Precious metals shares dropped approximately 2.9%, with Avino Silver & Gold Mines declining by 8% and Perpetua Resources falling by 7.7%.
Biotechnology stocks also fell by around 2.6%, led by Allogene Therapeutics, which experienced a steep decrease of 22.1%, while Xilio Therapeutics dropped 15.6%.
