Salesforce, Inc. (CRM) is experiencing significant growth with its Data 360 platform, which aids businesses in unifying customer data for enhanced decision-making. In fiscal years 2025 and 2026, Salesforce reported top-line growth of 8.7% and 9.6%, respectively, marking a slowdown from prior years. However, the integration of Data 360 with AI tools like Agentforce has driven annual recurring revenues for this segment to exceed $2.9 billion in Q4 fiscal 2026, a 200% increase year-over-year.

Despite this momentum, Salesforce faces strong competition from Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) and Snowflake Inc. (SNOW) in the data cloud space. Microsoft leverages its Azure Data services, integrating them with existing productivity tools, while Snowflake focuses solely on data solutions, enhancing its appeal in the marketplace. In the past year, Salesforce shares have declined 28.2%, while the Zacks Internet – Software industry rose by 6.3%, positioning CRM’s forward P/E ratio at 13.21, well below the industry average of 27.19.
