Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced its fiscal Q2 earnings on August 26, reporting a staggering 106% revenue increase year-over-year, totaling $96.2 billion. This surpasses analyst expectations, which forecasted revenues of $92.3 billion. Adjusted earnings per share rose to $2.22, exceeding predictions of $2.09.

Key growth drivers included the data center segment, which generated $89 billion, marking a 117% increase year-over-year. Hyperscaler revenue within this segment surged 102% to $48.7 billion. Looking ahead, Nvidia projected fiscal Q3 revenue around $108 billion, indicating an 89% growth rate. Furthermore, the company anticipates 70% revenue growth for fiscal 2028, significantly above industry expectations.
