Nvidia’s Q2 2027 Earnings Highlights
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported a record fiscal Q2 2027, concluding on July 26, with non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.22 and revenue of $96.22 billion, exceeding analyst expectations of $2.10 EPS on $92.17 billion. The company returned $26 billion to shareholders, comprising $20 billion in stock buybacks and $6 billion in dividends, the largest dividend payout in its history.
Despite the significant figures, Nvidia’s dividend yield remains low at approximately 0.4%. The net buyback of around $16 billion, after accounting for $4 billion in employee stock compensation, contributes modestly to the reduction of outstanding shares. With a market capitalization of roughly $5.44 trillion, the company’s massive buyback plan is part of an ongoing strategy, supported by about $99 billion in future buyback authorizations.
