Nvidia’s AI Platform Delays Addressed

A report from SemiAnalysis has raised concerns about potential delays in Nvidia’s Vera Rubin AI platform, which could have negative implications for the company’s earnings. CEO Jensen Huang denied these claims, stating that the production of Vera Rubin is already underway.

In an earlier report, SemiAnalysis indicated that Nvidia’s Kyber NVL144 rack-scale solution, essential for the Rubin Ultra architecture, has been delayed by over 12 months to 2028. Nvidia’s Q1 fiscal year 2027 revenue reached a record $81.6 billion, an 85% year-over-year increase. The company’s future earnings are heavily reliant on the timely production and release of its AI chips.

Huang emphasized the roadmap remains intact, though specifics on production timelines were not disclosed. Nvidia’s upcoming earnings call on August 26 will be critical for assessing the impact of these developments on market expectations.
