Nvidia’s Revenue Surge and Future Forecasts
Nvidia reported $75.2 billion in data center revenue for its fiscal Q1 2027, which ended on April 26, 2026, making up 92% of its total revenue of $81.6 billion. CEO Jensen Huang stated that this is just the beginning of a significant AI build-out, projecting that the semiconductor industry needs to grow five to ten times larger to meet future demand, potentially reaching a market cap of $15.1 trillion by 2036.
Huang acknowledged concerns about revenue concentration, as three main customers account for 54% of Nvidia’s total revenue. Despite rising uncertainties in AI infrastructure spending, Huang believes that investment in AI remains strong, evidenced by Amazon’s recent increase in capital spending guidance from $200 billion to $220 billion.
