Nvidia Breaks Down Revenue Reporting in Data Center Segment

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has updated its financial reporting to separate revenue from hyperscalers and other customers within its data center segment, which generated a record $75.2 billion last quarter. Revenue from hyperscalers surged 115% year-over-year to $37.9 billion, now accounting for 50% of Nvidia’s data center earnings.

This reporting shift highlights Nvidia’s significant growth from hyperscale clients while indicating potential diversification opportunities beyond this segment. The company’s overall sales for its AI chips continue to show robust demand across various industries, with revenue from AI Clouds, industrial, and enterprise (labeled as ACIE) increasing by 74%.
