Ouster Reports Strong Q2 Earnings Driven by Sensor Demand

Ouster, Inc. (OUST) reported a second-quarter loss of 26 cents per share for 2026, which was better than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a 31-cent loss. Revenues reached $55 million, marking a 56% year-over-year increase and exceeding the consensus estimate of $51 million by 7.6%. The company shipped over 17,000 lidar and camera sensors in the quarter, setting a new record.

Product revenues saw a 50.7% rise to $52.76 million, driven primarily by demand in industrial applications. Ouster’s GAAP gross margin improved to 49%, up from 45% a year ago, with operating expenses increasing 9.5% to $46.73 million. The company holds approximately $263 million in cash as of June 30, 2026, and anticipates third-quarter revenues to range between $54.5 million and $57.5 million.
