Significant Capital Movements in ETFs: A Weekly Analysis
Major shifts in ETF units outstanding reveal surprising trends.
In the latest analysis from ETF Channel, the IUSV ETF experienced the largest outflow, with 48,150,000 units removed from circulation. This represents an 18.5% decrease compared to the previous week.
On a percentage basis, the iShares Large Cap Deep Buffer ETF led the outflows, losing 1,400,000 units. This drop translates to a staggering 31.5% decline in its outstanding units from the week before. Notably, during morning trading today, the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF, one of the main components of IVVB, was down by roughly 1.6%.
