Soybean Prices Decline at the Start of Friday’s Trading Session

Soybean contracts are down 4 to 6 cents as of Friday morning, following a decline of ¾ to 3 ¼ cents in Thursday’s session. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price is reported at $10.98, down 3 cents. Open interest increased by 2,816 contracts on Thursday.

In weekly export sales data released Thursday, 247,886 MT of soybeans were sold for the 2025/26 marketing year, a record low for this period, with Egypt being the largest buyer at 58,100 MT. Soybean meal sales totaled 255,722 MT, falling short of trade estimates of 300,000 to 600,000 MT.

Brazil’s soybean production is maintained at 177.85 MMT, with crush raised by 0.7 MMT and exports increased by 2.1 MMT to 113.6 MMT in the latest Aboive estimate.
