Soybean prices saw a decrease on July 26, with front month contracts down 10 to 15 ¼ cents. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price dropped 14 ½ cents to $11.31. Soymeal futures increased by $3.70 to $5.10, while soy oil futures fell by 90 to 120 points.
The USDA reported a private export sale of 136,000 MT of soybeans for the 2026/27 season to China, and an additional 120,000 MT to unknown destinations. Export sales for the week of July 2 totaled 54,349 MT, with China purchasing 202,100 MT.
According to a Bloomberg survey, the upcoming WASDE report is expected to show old crop bean stocks declining by 3 million bushels to 337 million bushels, while new crop stocks are projected to rise by 22 million bushels due to increased production from expanded acreage.
