Soybeans are experiencing midday gains of 10 to 13.5 cents across most contracts, following a favorable USDA report. Current average cash bean prices stand at $11.44. Soymeal futures increased by $5.00 to $6.30, while soy oil futures rose by 70 to 85 points. The USDA also reported a private export sale of 264,000 metric tons of soybeans for the 2026/27 season to China.
The USDA’s WASDE report indicated a decrease in 2025/26 U.S. soybean stocks by 10 million bushels, bringing the total to 330 million bushels, with exports increased by the same amount. Global new crop carryout decreased by 0.71 million metric tons to 124.17 million metric tons, attributed to a 0.19 million metric ton smaller carryover from 2025/26 and a half million metric ton rise in Brazilian exports.
As of July 26, July soybeans are priced at $11.84 1/2 (up 4.75 cents), nearby cash at $11.44 1/4 (up 13.25 cents), August soybeans at $11.91 1/4 (up 13.5 cents), and November soybeans at $11.92 (up 10.5 cents).
