SpaceX Eyes $1.77 Trillion Valuation with Upcoming IPO

SpaceX is preparing for its IPO, targeting a valuation of $1.77 trillion, largely hinging on its artificial intelligence division, which estimates a total addressable market of $26.5 trillion. Evercore ISI predicts SpaceX’s capital expenditures could skyrocket from $20 billion in 2022 to $360 billion by 2030, reaching $732 billion by 2031, predominantly driven by AI investments.

CEO Elon Musk’s interconnected ventures bolster this forecast, with SpaceX recently acquiring AI start-up xAI and notable financial ties between Tesla and SpaceX. Despite its ambitious AI plans, which involve building proprietary chips, SpaceX will continue to rely heavily on Nvidia’s AI GPUs, particularly following a partnership with Anthropic that leverages 220,000 Nvidia GPUs for data processing.
