The First Trust Large Cap Value AlphaDEX Fund ETF (FTA) experienced notable trading activity on Wednesday, with over 271,000 shares exchanged, significantly above its three-month average volume of approximately 33,000 shares. The fund’s shares increased by about 0.5% during the trading session.
Among the ETF’s components, Ford Motor Company saw the highest trading volume with over 26.3 million shares traded, though it dipped slightly by about 0.1%. Intel Corporation, on the other hand, gained roughly 2.5% with more than 23.8 million shares changing hands. Charter Communications stood out as the top performer, rising 5.7% on the day. Conversely, Skyworks Solutions struggled, trading down about 4% compared to its peers within the First Trust Large Cap Value AlphaDEX Fund ETF.
