High Volume Alerts as Major Tech Stocks Fluctuate
On Monday afternoon, the SPDR Portfolio MSCI Global Stock Market ETF (SPGM) experienced a surge in trading volume. More than 462,000 shares changed hands, a significant increase compared to the three-month average of approximately 55,000 shares. The ETF saw a slight rise, up about 0.3% for the day.
Among the ETF’s components, Nvidia led with the highest trading volume, albeit down 3.5%. Over 185.3 million shares of Nvidia were traded this session. Meanwhile, Super Micro Computer saw an impressive jump of 11.5% with over 128.2 million shares traded. Scholar Rock Holding stood out with the best performance, soaring about 30.2% today, while Cassava Sciences struggled, declining by approximately 82.5%.
