Lumen Technologies Partners with AWS
Lumen Technologies (NYSE: LUMN) has seen its stock rise by over 15% following the announcement of its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Wednesday. The collaboration will utilize Lumen’s extensive last-mile and metro networks to enhance high-speed cloud services through the AWS Interconnect service.
According to Lumen, its network extends over 340,000 route miles, linking thousands of businesses and data centers. This partnership is positioned to play a critical role in building out artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, although specific financial details of the collaboration were not disclosed.
