Nvidia and Apple Announce Dividend Raises Amid Strong Financial Performance

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has increased its quarterly dividend from $0.01 to $0.25 per share, representing a 25-fold raise, and has expanded its share repurchase program by $80 billion, adding to a remaining $38.5 billion. For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, Nvidia reported an 85% year-over-year revenue increase to $81.6 billion, with net income tripling to $58.3 billion, achieving a net margin of 71%.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) raised its quarterly payout by 4% to $0.27 per share, marking a continued commitment to shareholder returns. The company reported significant growth in its product sales, particularly driven by the new iPhone models, contributing to annual sales of $416 billion and a market capitalization of $4.5 trillion. Both companies’ dividends yield below 0.5%, reflecting their focus on growth strategies rather than high dividend payouts.
