Amazon vs. Tesla and SpaceX Market Cap Overview
As of now, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) holds a market cap of $2.8 trillion, making it the fifth most valuable company in the market. In contrast, the combined market cap of Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) and SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) stands at $3.3 trillion. Despite this, Amazon generates over five times the revenue of both companies combined. In the second quarter, Amazon recorded net sales of $828 billion, projected to yield a net income of $133 billion for the year.
Analysts forecast that by 2030, Amazon will achieve $215 billion in net income on $1.38 trillion in revenue, representing increases of 62% and 66% respectively. Meanwhile, Tesla and SpaceX are expected to produce $151 billion in net income on $636 billion in revenue. While Tesla and SpaceX are anticipated to outpace Amazon’s growth rate, concerns remain regarding their profitability margins, with Amazon’s projected net margin significantly higher than the combined entities.
