Meta Launches AI Agent “Muse”
Meta Platforms (META) has introduced “Muse,” an autonomous personal AI agent, designed to execute complex, multi-step tasks, a step beyond traditional chatbots like ChatGPT. Launched earlier this month, Muse quickly rose to the top of the Apple App Store and contributed to a 27.4% gain in Meta’s shares over the past month.
Meta has partnered with Arm Holdings (ARM) to co-develop a new AGI CPU, with $2 billion in customer demand. Additionally, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is collaborating with Meta to optimize “Muse Glimmer” for local PC use. AMD’s server chip prices have surged approximately 40%, with CEO Lisa Su predicting the server CPU market could exceed $120 billion by 2030.
