Nvidia Earnings and Growth Projections
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported a 106% year-over-year revenue increase, reaching $96.2 billion for Q2 of fiscal 2027, and expects 70% revenue growth in fiscal 2028. The company is diversifying beyond GPUs, expanding into CPUs and networking, with projected revenue opportunities from AI infrastructure increasing from $18 billion to $40 billion.
Nvidia’s Ethernet switching revenue surged 192.7% year-over-year to $2.1 billion, capturing a 21.5% market share. Furthermore, the Grace CPU revenue surpassed $5 billion over the last 12 months, with expectations for CPU revenue to more than double in fiscal 2028.
Looking ahead, Nvidia anticipates third-quarter revenue of approximately $108 billion, reflecting an 89% year-over-year growth at the midpoint. Despite supply constraints, the company is poised for significant growth, supported by commitments increasing from $119 billion to $279 billion in supply and capacity agreements.
