TotalEnergies SE TTE unveiled an exciting proposition for Belgium: a cutting-edge Battery Storage Project in Feluy.
A Promising Project Unveiled
The project, located on the company’s depot site in Feluy, boasts a robust power rating of 25 MW and an impressive capacity of 75 MWh. This initiative, slated for launch by the end of 2025, has already captured the attention of investors and environmental enthusiasts alike.
Fueling Progress Through Innovation
TotalEnergies’ forward-thinking approach extends beyond Belgium, with a significant global investment of approximately €70 million earmarked for similar projects. The cumulative impact of these endeavors will elevate the company’s storage capacity in Belgium to a commendable 50 MW / 150 MWh.

Celebrating Technological Advancements
Discussing the project, Olivier Jouny, Senior Vice President, Integrated Power, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce this new storage project in Feluy, following closely on the heels of our Antwerp venture initiated just a year ago. These initiatives perfectly align with our holistic strategy for electricity development, signaling our commitment not only in Belgium but internationally.”
He further emphasized, “These technical innovations underscore the supremacy of our affiliate, Saft, in battery production and validate its prowess in large-scale stationary storage solutions.”
