Energy ETFs Shine While Copper Miners Struggle in Tuesday Trading
U.S. Oil & Gas ETF Leads the Pack
In trading on Tuesday, the iShares U.S. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sable Offshore, which rose by approximately 6.5%, and shares of Phillips 66, increasing by around 5.1%.
Copper Miners Lag Behind
In contrast, the Global X Copper Miners ETF is underperforming today, down about 3.2% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among its weakest components were shares of Ero Copper, which decreased by about 7%, followed closely by shares of Hudbay Minerals, down by approximately 5.1%.
