The FlexShares STOXX Global Broad Infrastructure Index Fund ETF (NFRA) experienced significantly higher trading volume on Wednesday, with over 869,000 shares exchanged compared to the three-month average of approximately 61,000 shares. The fund’s shares were mostly flat for the day.
Key components contributing to the high volume included Verizon Communications, which rose by 0.5% with over 7 million shares traded, and AT&T, also up 0.5%, with more than 6.5 million shares changing hands. Acadia Healthcare saw a notable gain of 6%, while Fermi declined by about 4.4%.
