In trading on Wednesday, oil and gas exploration and production shares rose by approximately 3.2%, led by W & T Offshore, which increased by 10.1%, and Ring Energy, which was up about 8%.
Education and training services stocks also showed strength, climbing around 3.1% collectively. New Oriental Education & Technology Group saw a significant gain of 13%, while Covista rose by 4.3%.
