SPDR S&P Aerospace & Defense ETF Sees Surge in Trading Volume
Notable Movements Among Top Holdings
The SPDR S&P Aerospace & Defense ETF (XAR) experienced a significant uptick in trading activity on Wednesday afternoon. With over 288,000 shares exchanged, this volume far exceeds the three-month average of approximately 88,000 shares. XAR’s share price increased by about 1.2% during the session.
Among the ETF’s components, Rocket Lab USA stood out, trading up approximately 8.3% with more than 18.7 million shares changing hands. Archer Aviation also performed well, appreciating by about 2.9% on a volume exceeding 5.6 million shares. In contrast, Transdigm Group underperformed, seeing a decrease of about 0.6% on the day.
