Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF Shines Amid Market Shifts
Semiconductor Stocks Surge While Healthcare Providers Struggle
In trading on Thursday, the Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF demonstrated strong performance, showing an increase of about 2.6% for the day. Key contributors to this positive trend include Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, which rose approximately 11.7%, and Broadcom, climbing about 4.3%.
Conversely, the iShares U.S. Healthcare Providers ETF fell behind, recording a decline of about 3.1% during Thursday afternoon trading. Among its components, Elevance Health and Molina Healthcare both faced significant drops, each down approximately 11.9%.
