In early trading on Friday, Netflix shares emerged as the top performer in the Nasdaq 100 index, increasing by 9.1%. The streaming giant has demonstrated impressive growth, showing a remarkable 54.0% gain year to date.
Conversely, Vertex Pharmaceuticals has taken a downturn, trading down 2.2% today. Despite this drop, the company’s performance for the year remains positive, with a gain of 19.9% year to date.
Old Dominion Freight Line is another notable mover, trading down 1.6%. Meanwhile, Intuitive Surgical stands out with a significant increase of 8.2% today.
