Major ETF Outflows: Consumer Staples Lead the Pack
Procter & Gamble and Costco Show Moderate Gains Amid Declines
This week, the exchange-traded fund (ETF) landscape experienced significant shifts, especially in the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP). The fund saw a notable outflow of 3,450,000 units, translating to a 1.6% decrease from the previous week. In today’s trading, two major companies within this ETF, Procter & Gamble, reported a 0.5% gain, while Costco Wholesale saw an increase of about 0.3%.
On the other hand, the standout ETF in terms of percentage loss was the OFOS ETF. It experienced a drastic reduction of 110,000 units, resulting in a staggering 39.3% decline from the prior week.
