CompX International Inc. (CIX) reported fourth-quarter 2025 net sales of $37.7 million, a 1.8% decrease from $38.4 million in the same quarter of 2024. Despite the decline in revenue, the company achieved an operating income of $5.6 million, marking a 14% increase from $4.9 million the previous year, and net income rose to $4.7 million, or 38 cents per diluted share, compared to $4.5 million, or 37 cents per share, in Q4 2024.
The Security Products segment generated $120.7 million in sales for 2025, a 5% rise from the prior year, while the Marine Components segment saw a significant 22% increase, reaching $37.6 million. The company’s board declared a 30-cent per share dividend payable on March 24, 2026, to shareholders on record as of March 16, 2026.
Looking ahead, CompX anticipates modest growth in net sales across both segments for 2026, although it expects continued weakness in the transportation market may affect overall gains. The company plans to counter rising raw material costs with price adjustments and operational efficiencies.
