PACCAR Inc. (PCAR) reported second-quarter 2026 earnings of $1.43 per share, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.33 by 7.5%. Revenues reached $7.55 billion, up from $7.1 billion in the same quarter the previous year. Truck deliveries slid 1.5% to 38,700 units, while parts revenues surged 1.5% to a record $1.75 billion.
Geographically, U.S. and Canadian revenues decreased 3.3% to $4.59 billion, while European revenues increased 6.9% to $1.79 billion. Despite a drop in truck deliveries, pretax profit for trucks rose 16.7% year over year to $360.5 million, supported by higher truck profitability and strong aftermarket performance. The company maintained its retail sales forecast of 230,000-270,000 trucks for the U.S. and Canada in 2026 and revised its European market expectations upward.
