AMD Surpasses Q2 Earnings Expectations Driven by Robust Data Center Performance

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) reported second-quarter 2026 non-GAAP earnings of $1.66 per share, a 246% year-over-year increase, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3.1%. Revenues rose 50.1% year-over-year to $11.54 billion, surpassing forecasts by 1.9%.

The Data Center segment accounted for 58% of total revenues, with sales soaring 107.3% to $6.72 billion. EPYC processor sales increased by over 70%, while the Client and Gaming segments generated $3.84 billion, a 6.1% rise, despite a 31% decline in gaming revenues.

For Q3 2026, AMD projects revenues around $13 billion, reflecting a growth of approximately 41% year-over-year. The company также anticipates strong growth in Data Center and Embedded segments but a modest decline in Client and Gaming, primarily due to ongoing gaming softness.
