In contrast, MPLS spring wheat saw a decline of up to 1.25 cents in the front months, while deferred contracts rose by 3.5 cents.

Algeria purchased approximately 720,000 metric tons of wheat on the same day. Key closing prices included September CBOT Wheat at $6.42¼, December CBOT Wheat at $6.61¼, September KCBT Wheat at $7.13½, and December KCBT Wheat at $7.31.

Concerns regarding the export flow from the Black Sea persist amid heightened conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has intensified attacks on vessels and ports in recent weeks. Weekly Export Sales data is anticipated to show net sales of 250,000 to 450,000 metric tons of 2026/27 wheat for the week ending July 30.
