**Vanguard ETF Holdings Update on SpaceX**
Vanguard’s nine exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw mixed changes in their holdings of Space Exploration Technologies (NASDAQ: SPCX) as of July 31, 2026. Notably, the Vanguard Morningstar Total Stock Market ETF, which holds the largest position in SpaceX, increased its share count by just 0.3% (53,439 shares) to approximately 18.79 million shares, equating to a market value of $2.036 billion. Conversely, four ETFs slightly reduced their holdings, with the Vanguard Communication Services ETF making the most significant increase of 33%, boosting its holdings to 842,835 shares.

The shares of SpaceX experienced a notable decline of 37% in July, influencing ETF adjustments as investors awaited upcoming share unlocks, which began post-earnings on August 4. As of August 19, SpaceX’s stock has rebounded by approximately 25%. With SpaceX’s market capitalization at $1.8 trillion, it is expected to become a top holding within the Vanguard Communication Services ETF by the end of the year, reinforcing its position as a significant player among major ETFs.
